Well, of course they do. Doesn’t everyone? But empaths can have especially strong experiences of anger due to their heightened ability to feel feelings.

When an empath is exposed to a strong showing of anger, they tend to feel first, react, and then think later. This can lead to major blowups and catastrophic outbursts.

It doesn’t even matter if the anger originated within them, or belongs to someone else. The basic energy of the angry vibes is all that it takes to deeply effect an empathic person.

This can be further complicated by the fact that empaths can begin to become aware of feelings and emotions in others before the other person themselves are even aware of them.

This can lead to confusion and poor communication, especially when empaths get angry.

The Hidden Dangers When Empaths Get Angry

Empaths have physical maladies that they must be aware of and prevent by remaining as calm as they can be at all times. These include headaches, ulcers, and high blood pressure to name a few.

And then there are the mental/emotional maladies that can come into play as well: Depression, Insomnia, Anxiety.

Empaths tend to go beyond sympathy and/or empathy and end up taking on the feelings and emotions of others.

They may pass by someone on the street that seems upset, and then become upset themselves. Sometimes, for quite a while.

The best way to combat these negative effects of being an empath is self care.

You have to make sure that your needs are looked after at all times, or you will become even more susceptible to other people’s emotions and the potentially harmful consequences of getting angry.

So, take that bubble bath, or that nap for that matter. And armor up. Because the world is a chaotic place, and those of us that are especially sensitive to negative vibrations must be prepared.
