On the surface level, distinguishing power vs force is pretty straightforward.

Power is the ability to do something, while force has to do with getting that thing done.

But let’s think about force in a specific context for a minute. Instead getting what you want by force (often by way of threats of violence), let’s think of force as extreme effort on our part to generate an outcome that we really want.

For example, forcing a square peg into a round hole. Or forcing two puzzle pieces together that just don’t belong.

You can try to force it, but it’s just not the right fit.

And how often do we do this?

If we want something badly enough, we can spend a lot of energy on it trying to force it to happen. But this rarely works out in our favor in the end. That is because we are lacking the power, or ability, to generate that outcome that we so desire.

So where does this power come from? As it turns out, it has very little to do with effort or determination.

The power that we so desperately need in order to make that peg fit in that hole comes to us by way of flow.

Think About It: Power vs Force

You know the feeling that you get when everything is just falling into place on its own accord? When something unfolds one thing right after another and it all comes together perfectly?

That is power in action. And it does not come from our own straining efforts.

No, true power exists inside of us and all around us. What we have to do is learn how to access that well of infinite power that feeds the universe and keeps everything moving. That is how we get results… and easily.

Tap into the power. It’s yours for the taking.

There are many methods for tapping into this energy. Any and all of them can work for you if you use them in earnest. Prayer, meditation, chakra healing, law of attraction manifestation, affirmations… the list goes on. The important thing is that you develop a practice out of them that you are consistent with. And then all you have to do is believe.

The Power Of Belief

You must believe that the power to get the best results for you exists. And you must avoid using force in an attempt to speed up the process or make it look the way you want it to.

So, the difference of power vs force is this: to get the results you want, tap into the power that already exists around and within you, and avoid forcing pieces to fit along the way. Simply use your power practice as a portal to the divine, and let the universe take care of the rest.
